Clean & Natural Beauty

What is Clean Beauty?
For me (and my products) clean beauty means pure, unadulterated skincare ingredients. Ingredients that you could eat and that you feel are helping the health of your skin.
Clean Beauty means beauty products that are free from as many synthetic, unadulterated, artificial ingredients as possible. Ingredients that haven't been created in a laboratory and ingredients that you could eat.
I know that synthetic ingredients are vital for health and wellbeing too and I do use one synthetic ingredient in a couple of the products and that is Vitamin A (a form of retinol). I also use Bakuchiol and a CO2 extraction of Organic Rosehip - both of which are used in the industry as natural alternatives to retinol.
I am not saying that synthetic ingredients are wrong - it's just that I want to put things on my skin that my body can process.
Lots of ingredients are made up molecules small enough to penetrate in through the skin and then into the bloodstream (see more about this in the Aromatherapy section).
Nutritionists talk about "clean eating" and that means unadulterated, natural ingredients.
